Mobile Large Magnetic Oil Filter Cart Design and Manufacturing Process

By Dachnial Dan Imansyah

In my previous post, I have shown the product of the mobile large oil filter cart. In this article, I will explain the manufacturing process from design to manufacturing process.

Starting from the need for a mineral mining service company, which requires an oil filter cart that can be moved from one location to another in the mining area. The need for oil filters for dump truck fleets and other mining fleets is very large considering the high price of lubricating oil and the large need for lubricating oil at each mining location.

In 2003 – 2005, I worked in the Special Project department which specialized in providing modified product services from all the products we supply.
In response to client needs, I prepared several suggestions including the use of magnetic filters.

Because at mining sites it is easier to get access to compressed air, a diaphragm pump will be used for the pump system.
Three different types of oil filters with three different microns will also be used.

After undergoing the design process and component selection and layout, roughly the design is as shown below:

Manufacturing and Run Test Process

Below are some pictures of the production stage and run test of the mobile large oil filter cart.
